The New Revolution

The Ask: Commonwealth Avenue is a busy street that is constantly filled with foot traffic by local college students. It is also a perfect street to make a statement. I was asked to design a mural on the front window of Boston University’s Engineering Product Innovation Center.

The Result: The New Revolution is a parody of the iconic evolution imagery. It shows how humans are physically regressing backward in evolution, exaggerating the downfall of technological devices. It also serves as a reminder to pedestrians to stay off their phones and look up.
